Let's Get Started!

Lay 4 craft sticks.

Lay out four craft sticks side-by-side and pour some glue on top. This is the back of your card holder.

Spread glue.

Spread the glue to make a thin layer with a cotton swab. Put aside to dry completely.

Lay 3 craft sticks.

Lay out three craft sticks side-by-side and pour some glue on top. This is the front of your card holder.

Spread glue.

Spread the glue to make a thin layer with a cotton swab. Put aside to dry completely.

Cut craft sticks.

Cut four craft stick pieces to be half a finger’s length (1 1/2 inches). Tip: If you are having trouble, ask an adult for help!

Create sides.

These smaller pieces are going to be the sides of your holder. Place two pieces side-by-side and pour glue on them. You will have two sides.

Spread glue.

Spread the glue to make a thing layer with a cotton swab. Put aside to dry completely.

Lay 2 craft sticks.

Lay out two craft sticks side-by-side and pour some glue on top. This is the bottom of your card holder.

Spread glue.

Spread the glue to make a thin layer with a cotton swab. Put aside to dry completely.

Paint.

Paint all of the pieces to your card holder one color of your choice. Let dry completely.

Begin building.

Tape the shorter pieces of craft stick (the sides) to the four craft sticks.

Continue building.

Tape the three craft sticks (the front) onto the shorter pieces (the sides).

Finish building.

Glue the whole thing onto the two craft sticks (the bottom) and leave sitting up to dry completely.

Decorate.

Decorate your card holder with craft foam.
