Draw an ear.

Draw an ear onto a piece of white construction paper.

Fold and cut.

Fold the paper in half and cut out the ear. You will end up with two!

Draw a smaller ear.

Draw a smaller ear on a piece of pink construction paper.

Fold and cut, again.

Fold the paper in half and cut out the smaller ear. You will end up with two!

Glue ears.

Glue the pink ear in the center of the white ear and put aside.

Trace a quarter.

Trace a quarter two times onto a piece of white construction paper.

Cut circles.

Cut out the two circles and put aside.

Trace a dime.

Trace a dime two times onto a piece of black construction paper.

Cut circles, again.

Cut out the two circles.

Glue circles.

Glue the black circles onto the white circles to make eyes and put aside.

Fold a paper plate.

Fold a paper plate in half.

Staple plate.

Place four staples to close most of the paper plate on either side but leaving enough room to place your hand.

Cut a strip.

Cut a long strip of pink construction paper to use as a handle.

Attach a handle.

Staple one end of the handle to one side of the curved side of the paper plate.

Finish attaching a handle.

Staple the other end of the handle to the other side of the curved side of the paper plate.

Glue eyes.

Glue an eye on either side of one end of the paper plate. This is the head end!

Glue ears.

Glue an ear above each eye.

Glue cotton balls.

Glue a few cotton balls at the tail end of your paper plate.

Draw a nose.

Draw a pink nose with markers. Make sure you draw the nose on both sides of your basket!

Draw some whiskers with markers.
