Grab a paper plate, some paint and pipe cleaners and make a cute, little crab that won't pinch!

Paper Plate
Paint
Paint Brushes
Pipe Cleaners
Wiggly Eyes
Masking Tape
Craft Foam
Scissors
Not all crabs are crabby! Join this little red crab on an exciting beach adventure.

Let's Get Started!

Paint with red.
Paint a paper plate red.

Draw an egg.
Draw an egg shape on a piece of red craft foam.

Cut out egg.
Cut out the egg shape from the red craft foam.

Cut a triangle.
Cut a triangle out of the egg shape to make it look like a crab claw.

Trace crab claw.
Trace your crab claw one time on a piece of red craft foam.

Cut out a claw.
Cut this out and put both claws aside.

Collect pipe cleaners.
Collect four red pipe cleaners.

Fold pipe cleaners.
Fold each one in half to make a V.

Cut pipe cleaners.
Cut each pipe cleaner in half.

Attach legs.
Tape three pipe cleaners on each side of the paper plate to be legs. Bend them a little to look more like legs.

Attach a claw.
Tape a claw onto the two pipe cleaners that are left.

Attach arms.
Tape the claws onto your paper plate.

Add eyes.
Glue two wiggly eyes onto the top of the paper plate.
