Fold green paper.
Fold a piece of green construction paper in half.

Draw an oval.
Draw a large oval onto the folded paper.

Cut the oval.
Cut out the oval. You will end up with two ovals!

Fold green paper, again.
Fold another piece of green construction paper in half.

Draw a triangle.
Draw a tall and skinny triangle.

Cut the triangle.
Cut out the triangle. You will end up with two triangles!

Draw a rectangle.
Draw a small and skinny rectangle on a piece of red construction paper.

Cut.
Cut out the rectangle.

Trace a quarter.
Trace a quarter two times onto a piece of white construction paper.

Cut circles.
Cut out the circles.

Draw center of eyes.
Draw the center of a snake eye onto each white circle.

Add a dowel.
Lay out one of the green ovals and place a dowel on top. Secure with scotch tape.

Add a tongue.
Place the tongue onto the oval and secure with scotch tape.

Attach oval.
Tape the other green oval on top.

Attach a dowel.
Lay one of the green triangles down with a dowel on top. Secure with scotch tape.

Attach triangle.
Tape the other triangle on top.

Fold green paper.
Fold another piece of green construction paper in half hot-dog style (longways).

Cut.
Cut down the fold.

Shape the strip.
Cut the strip to make it look wavy.

Fold paper.
Fold the paper back and forth to make a fan.

Add eyes.
Glue an eye on either side of the snake’s head.

Attach head, tail and body.
Attach the head of your snake to the tail with this bendy piece of paper using tape.
