Trace your box.

Trace each side of the box onto construction paper. Label each piece so you remember where it belongs!

Draw a tail.

Draw a tail on a piece of construction paper.

Draw feet.

Draw two (or more!) feet for your monster.

Decorate.

Decorate each traced shape with crayons. Add spots or stripes!

Cut shapes.

Cut out each traced shape, the tail and the feet.

Glue shapes.

Glue each piece onto the correct side of your box and let dry.

Glue feet and tail.

Glue the tail and feet onto the bottom of the box so it sticks out from underneath.

Shape egg cups.

Trim down your egg cups with scissors.

Make eyes.

Glue a pom pom in the center of each cup and let dry.

Attach eyes.

Loop a piece of masking tape to attach your egg cup eyes onto the top of your monster.

Make a tongue.

Draw a large tongue on a piece of red construction paper and cut it out.

Attach tongue.

Tape the tongue inside of the box’s opening.
