Let's Get Started!

Cut a cup.

Cut the bottom of a cup off so that it is half a finger’s length tall.

Cut another cup.

Cut the bottom of another cup off making it a little taller than the first cup.

Paint with black.

Paint both cups black.

Fold black paper.

Fold a piece of black construction paper in half hot dog style (long-ways).

Cut the fold.

Cut down the fold.

Make a tube.

Roll the strip of paper into a tube and secure it with tape.

Decorate.

Decorate the taller cup with the colors red and green.

Poke a hole.

Poke a hole in the center of the shorter cup large enough for the rolled up paper tube.

Insert tube.

Insert the paper tube into the hole.

Glue tube to cup.

Glue the tube onto the bottom of the decorated black cup.
